Woman, 11-year-old girl stabbed in London’s Leicester Square, man arrested


A woman and an 11-year-old girl were attacked with a knife in London’s Leicester Square, police said on Monday.

The police said that the accused has been arrested and is in custody. They also said that police force has been deployed at the spot.

“We do not believe any suspects are still alive,” Westminster police said in a statement to XTV.

A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service gave this information. BBC He said he received information about the incident at around 11.36am British time.

“We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic and an incident response officer. We also sent members of our tactical response unit,” he said.

He said both were treated at the scene and taken to a “major trauma centre.”
