Former US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic candidate for the US presidency. Barack Obama called Kamala Harris and said, “Michelle and I are very proud to endorse you.”
In a light-hearted exchange, Kamala Harris said, “Michelle, Barack, this means a lot to me. I’m looking forward to doing this with both of you. Both Doug and I. And also to be out there, to be on the road.”
Thanking him, she said, “But most of all, I want to tell you that words cannot express the meaning of the words you have said and the friendship you have given me over the years.”
