Vivek Ramaswamy slams violence against Bangladesh Hindus, says concerning tale for victimhood laced quota systems

Former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has condemned the targeted violence against Hindus amid unrest in Bangladesh, calling out the country’s “victim-ridden quota system”. In a lengthy post on X, the entrepreneur spoke about the quota protests in Bangladesh, and said “bloodshed” is always the end point of grievances and victimisation.

The 39-year-old, who resigned from the White House race in January and endorsed Donald Trump, detailed in a post on the microblogging site how the quota system created to rectify the “wrongs of rape and violence” in the 1971 war has led to more such incidents in 2024.

“The targeted violence against Hindus in Bangladesh is wrong, worrying, and a warning to victim-based quota systems,” he tweeted.
