US President Joe Biden will announce a plan to reform the Supreme Court on Monday, Politico reported, citing two people familiar with the matter, adding that he may support term limits and an enforceable code of conduct for judges.
Biden said during his Oval Office address earlier this week that he would call for court reform.
He is also likely to seek a constitutional amendment to limit immunity for presidents and certain other office holders, Politico reports, following a Supreme Court ruling in July that said presidents enjoy broad immunity from prosecution.
Biden will make the announcement in Texas on Monday and the specific proposals could change, the report said.
