US Vice President Kamala Harris has taken the lead over her Republican presidential rival Donald Trump in several key states like Arizona, Michigan and Pennsylvania, according to various surveys released here.

Democratic presidential nominee Harris has a slight lead over former President Trump in Michigan, according to the latest poll released by the UMass Lowell Center for Public Opinion and YouGov. It said Harris is slightly ahead of Trump in the Great Lakes state, 48 percent to 43 percent.

“For a swing state, this margin is good news for the vice president’s campaign,” said Rodrigo Castro Cornejo, an assistant professor of political science at UMass Lowell and associate director of the Center for Public Opinion.

If Trump wants to overcome this gap, he will have to fight an uphill battle in the Great Lakes state. “The Trump campaign,” Castro Cornejo said, “has negative favorability in Michigan that needs to be addressed if they want to remain competitive in the state.”

The UMass Lowell Center for Public Opinion said Harris is at 48 percent in Pennsylvania to Trump’s 46 percent.

“The presidential race in Pennsylvania remains very close and the coming weeks are a critical time for both campaigns,” Cornejo said.

He added, “As can be expected in a highly competitive race with some undecided voters, get-out-the-vote strategies will become increasingly important to mobilize supporters and ensure they go to the polls on Election Day.” Will go.”

According to a new Fox News poll, Harris has a slight lead over Trump in Georgia, but is behind in Arizona.

The poll said Harris got 51 percent of the votes in Georgia compared to Trump’s 48 percent. However, according to the Fox News poll, Trump leads Harris by the same margin in Arizona. He has the support of 51 percent compared to Harris’s 48 percent.

According to Real Clear Politics, which tracks all major polls, Trump trails Harris by two percentage points nationally, while in battleground states, it is a statistical tie. It says Harris is ahead of Trump by 0.3 percentage points in battleground states.
