Russia has declared a state of emergency in a part of the Voronezh region bordering Ukraine after a drone attack overnight, local governor Alexander Gusev said on his Telegram channel.
According to Gusev, the Russian military intercepted five drones. The falling debris caused a fire, which caused the explosives to explode.
He said no civilian buildings were damaged in the incident, but authorities had to impose emergency measures in three settlements in the Ostrogozhsky district and evacuate 200 people.
