A Saurya Airlines plane crashed while taking off from Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport on Wednesday.
New footage has emerged giving a clearer view of the moment the plane crashed.
The incident occurred around 11 am local time. The plane was headed to Pokhara and had 19 people on board, including the aircrew. According to PTI, “at least 18 people died” in the accident.
According to an airport security official, the pilot was taken to a nearby hospital, but there was no further information about his condition.
