Mass shooting in Israel’s Tel Aviv, terror attack suspected: Report


Israeli police on Tuesday reported a suspected “terrorist” shooting in Jaffa, south of Tel Aviv. According to a report by news agency Reuters, it resulted in several casualties. Israel said both gunmen were killed.

According to Israeli media, at least four people suffered serious injuries.

According to The Times of Israel, the shooting occurred on a Jerusalem street next to a light rail train station.

Israel’s MDA ambulance service said it received reports of injuries in the shooting at 7.01 pm (9.31 pm IST).

Reuters quoted the MDA as saying that doctors and paramedics provided on-site medical treatment to several injured people with varying degrees of injuries, including some who were unconscious.

The video shows two terrorists armed with rifles stepping out of the train before opening fire. Civilians were seen lying on the ground to protect themselves.
