US Vice President Kamala Harris on Sunday took a dig at former President Donald Trump, saying he is a “coward” who focuses on undermining his opponents. Addressing the gathering, Harris said there has been a “distortion” in politics in recent years where the strength of a leader depends on how he or she “defeats” others.
The Democratic presidential candidate labelled leaders who engage in “beat-up” politics as “cowards,” arguing that true leadership is seen in lifting others up. “Anyone who thinks about beating others up is a coward,” Harris said.
Although Harris did not directly name her political rival Trump, her remarks came a day after Trump’s resignation. Trump called him a “radical” and a “crazy” During his election rally in eastern Pennsylvania.
Recent opinion polls There are signs that Harris is working with renewed vigor in the Democratic campaign, significantly narrowing the gap with former President Donald Trump.
