On Wednesday, two other Austrian citizens, aged 17 and 15, were detained in connection with the alleged plot.
According to Corner, the 17-year-old was given a job with a company providing services at the stadium but has so far refused to testify.
It appears that the boy had also been radicalised, and the authorities were already aware of him.
Carner said the 15-year-old was still being intensively questioned by police.
Austrian authorities were reportedly tipped off about the Swift concert threat from US intelligence agencies, as Austrian law does not allow the monitoring of instant messaging apps the suspects used to communicate.
“Cooperation with foreign partners and services is essential and reciprocal. This is what made it possible to prevent the tragedy in Vienna,” Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer said.
Swift, whose next scheduled performance is in London next week, has not commented on the concert’s cancellation.
British police have said there is no indication the Vienna plot will have any impact on the London show.
