External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar on Thursday (August 22) said that he had a good conversation with his Polish counterpart Radoslaw Sikorski on a range of topics including the Ukraine conflict, the situation in the Indo-Pacific region and bilateral cooperation.

Mr. Jaishankar has come here as a member of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s delegation.

“Had a good conversation with Foreign Minister of Poland @sikorskiradek this morning. Discussed Ukraine conflict, Indo-Pacific situation and bilateral cooperation,” Mr Jaishankar wrote on X.

He expressed confidence that Prime Minister Modi’s visit will give new impetus to bilateral relations with Poland.

Shri Modi’s visit to Poland is the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister to Poland in the last 45 years.
