Republican presidential candidate and former US President Donald Trump returned to social media platform X ahead of a live interview with X owner Elon Musk.
Musk had previously announced that he would have a “live conversation” with Trump on August 12 at 8 p.m. Eastern time.
“Live conversation with @realDonaldTrump on X “My husband and I will be meeting tomorrow night at 8pm Eastern time,” Musk said in a post on X.
In this situation, the Republican candidate posted a campaign video on the social media platform.
It is noteworthy that this is Donald Trump’s first post on this platform after a long time.
In 2021, X, then called Twitter, permanently banned Trump’s account following the US Capitol violence, citing “risk of further incitement of violence”.
However, his account was restored after Elon Musk took over the social media platform.
