Benjamin Netanyahu visits US, faces protests; Joe Biden pulls out of presidential race

Massive demonstrations in support of Palestine took place in the US last week during Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s three-day visit. He harshly criticised the protesters in a fiery speech at the US Capitol and called them “Iran’s useful idiots”. Netanyahu also discussed the possibility of ending the war in Gaza and securing a ceasefire agreement with President Joe Biden.

He recommended that Vice President Kamala Harris should be made the Democrat candidate to take on Republican candidate Donald Trump in the November 5 election.
