Massive demonstrations in support of Palestine took place in the US last week during Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s three-day visit. He harshly criticised the protesters in a fiery speech at the US Capitol and called them “Iran’s useful idiots”. Netanyahu also discussed the possibility of ending the war in Gaza and securing a ceasefire agreement with President Joe Biden.
Also, the US President said he was “handing over the torch to a new generation” to unite the country as he addressed the nation for the first time since dropping out of the presidential race.
