Hezbollah hides millions in cash, gold under Beirut hospital, says Israel

“There are millions of dollars of cash and gold inside the bunker right now. I am urging the Lebanese government, the Lebanese authorities and international organizations – do not allow Hezbollah to use the money for terror and to attack Israel,” Mr. Hagari said.

“The Israeli Air Force is monitoring the compound, as you can see. However, we will not attack the hospital,” Mr Hagari said.

Israeli Chief of General Staff Herzi Halevi told troops in Lebanon that on the night between Sunday (October 20, 2024) and Monday (October 21, 2024), aircraft struck about 30 sites belonging to al-Qard al-Hassan , which Israel says is the financial arm of Hezbollah.

Mr. Hagari said further attacks against Hezbollah’s financial sites would continue.
