Former US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle have endorsed US Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic presidential candidate.
Kamala Harris launched her presidential campaign after President Joe Biden said he would drop his bid for a second term.
The decision comes after Biden has been under weeks of pressure to step down following his stunning performance in a debate against rival and former President Trump last month, which raised concerns about his fitness to serve a second term and his ability to defeat his Republican rival in November.
