vice president kamala harris Campaigned with about 100 Republicans in Bucks County, Pennsylvania on Wednesday (October 17, 2024). The Democratic candidate for the White House then sat down for an interview with Brett Baier on the conservative channel fox newsWho deeply supports the former US President and Republican candidate donald trump,

Harris’ rally was held at Washington Crossing, where General George Washington crossed the Delaware River before the Battle of Trenton, a key battle in the American War of Independence. With US President (then-candidate) Joe Biden winning Bucks County in 2020, Pennsylvania has become the biggest prize for both candidates.

With the phrase ‘country before party’ on either side of the lectern, Ms Harris reiterated her pledge to appoint a Republican to her Cabinet. Republican lawmakers, including Trump’s critic Adam Kinzinger, a former member of the House of Representatives, stood on the stage clapping at various points during the speech.

Ms Harris was introduced by former Trump supporters Bob and Christina Lang.

“In a normal election year, it might be a little surprising to have you all here with me… but not in this election,” Ms. Harris said, explaining that democratic ideals were at stake.

He praised former Republican Vice President, Mike Pence, for allowing the certification of the 2020 election to proceed, despite threats to his life during the attack on the US Capitol by a mob of Trump supporters on January 6, 2021.

“Had it not been for Vice President Pence’s courage and patriotism that day, Donald Trump might actually have succeeded in overturning the will of the American people,” he said.

He referred to Mr Trump’s statement during a recent interview in which he said he would use the military if necessary against the “enemy within”. He suggested that if elected, he would go after reporters, judges and non-partisan election officials he does not like.

“It is clear that Donald Trump is becoming increasingly unstable and unstable,” he said.

He appealed to independents and Republicans, saying, “…no matter what your party, no matter who you voted for last time, there is a place for you in this campaign.” Ms Harris said she would have a bipartisan council to provide solutions to the country’s pressing issues.

He said, “I believe that to make America the strongest democracy in the world, we must have a healthy two-party system.”

Shortly afterwards, in his interview with fox newsMs Harris was pressed on her record at the US-Mexico border and her policies regarding illegal immigration and undocumented immigrants. For example, when she was asked whether she supported giving driver’s licenses, free healthcare, and free university tuition to undocumented immigrants, she refused to answer those questions directly and said that she Will follow federal law. While he is saddened that people have killed migrants released into the US, he said Mr Trump had killed a bipartisan bill that would have increased security at the border.

When asked why most Americans think the country is headed in the wrong direction, he talked about Mr. Trump’s divisiveness. Once again, he brought up Mr Trump’s reference to the “enemy within”.

Ms Harris was questioned over comments she made last week about being fully aligned with President Joe Biden’s policies.

“Let me be very clear: My presidency There will be no continuation of Joe Biden’s presidency“She argued this by saying that she has not spent her career in Washington, D.C.

“I represent a new generation of leadership,” she said.

Explaining the reasoning behind the interview, Ms Harris campaign spokesman Brian Fallon said, “She was able to reach an audience that might not have been exposed to the arguments she was making during…” Said Ms Harris got the chance to demonstrate her “toughness” by talking to a “hostile” interviewer.
