Even the looming threat of a missile attack couldn’t stop a newlywed couple from celebrating their love in Jerusalem. Forced to hide in bomb shelter Iran fired a barrage of ballistic missilesOn the Israeli side, the newlyweds shared their first dance in an underground bunker.

Despite the chaos above ground, love and happiness filled the cramped, dimly lit sanctuary where the couple, surrounded by their wedding guests, danced softly to the music.

The touching moment, which was captured on video and shared on X, shows the couple wearing their wedding dresses, holding each other closely and dancing.

The bride, in a white lace gown, was lovingly cradled by her groom while their guests recorded the moment on their cellphones.

The video was filmed in a bunker near the Notre Dame Hotel, one of the largest hotels in Jerusalem, and was shared by Biblical scholar and author Saul Sadaka.

“Iran couldn’t stop the joy of this Jerusalem wedding even for a moment,” Sadaqa captioned the video.

Like thousands of Israelis, the couple were forced to seek shelter as missiles rained down on Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and other major cities.

Two Israelis were injured in the missile attack. In the West Bank, a Palestinian man was killed by debris from an intercepted missile.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Pledged to take retaliatory action after Iran’s missile attack.
