The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) are stepping up attacks on the Damascus-Beirut highway, targeting vehicles on the key corridor linking Lebanon with Syria, Iraq and Iran. The route is a known supply line for Hezbollah, used to transport weapons.
Reporting from the Bekaa Valley, Ashraf Wani highlighted that five Hezbollah vehicles had been attacked in the past week, including an attack on a major bridge along the highway.
