Republican JD Vance and this Democrat Tim Walz The meeting will take place on October 1 in New York City, a popular location for political candidates to raise money.
As the race for the White House heats up, both candidates will try to poke holes in each other’s agenda and promote the messages of their respective presidential candidates. The November 5 presidential election will certainly be exciting as many polls show a tight race between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump.

The vice presidential debate is to be hosted by CBS News and the 90-minute event will begin on October 1 at 9 pm EDT, with a 6:30 am start time for Indian viewers.
The debate is taking place in New York City, a place that has historically leaned toward the Democrats, but Trump is hell-bent on changing that trend. Harris, on the other hand, has decided to skip the traditional Al Smith Dinner, an annual white tie event held in New York City to raise money for charities that help children.
As far as viewing goes, CBS plans to air the event live on its broadcast networks, as well as on platforms like CBS News 24/7 and Paramount+.
