Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump on Tuesday that the US needs to get out of the war in Ukraine and that Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris And President Joe Biden had no plans to do so.
“Biden and Kamala got us into this war in Ukraine and now they can’t get us out. They can’t get us out,” Trump said in a speech in Georgia. The U.S. does not have troops in Ukraine but has provided Ukraine with billions of dollars in military and humanitarian aid.
“I think we’re going to be in that war until I’m president,” Trump said. “I’ll finish it. I’ll negotiate it, I’ll get out. We have to get out. Biden says ‘We’re not leaving until we win.’ What if he wins?”
